Jimmy Carter Just Called Out Hillary Clinton Publicly And It Is Setting The Internet On Fire

Beloved President Jimmy Carter’s political opinions are taken very seriously by both sides of the fight. Carter was arguably one of the best leaders the country has ever seen; the 89-year old certainly doesn’t bite his tongue either. Throughout his current health issues, Carter has remained a beacon of logic in the 2016 Presidential race.
Carter has recently spoken out about the legal bribery that takes place in American elections, saying this to the BBC:
‘The erroneous ruling of the Supreme Court, where millionaires and billionaires can put in unlimited amounts of money in to the campaign, it gives legal bribery a chance to prevail, because almost all the candidates, whether they are honest or not, Democrat or Republican, rely on these massive amounts of money in order to campaign.’

Now, Carter is setting his sites on Hillary Clinton specifically. Her actions (or lack thereof) as Secretary of State got Carter’s attention, and he wasn’t afraid to air those grievances to Time Magazine. The ex-President said that Hillary really didn’t do much to create peace in the country, as one would hope the Secretary of State would strive to do, at the very least.

“In this occasion, when Secretary Clinton was Secretary of State, she took very little action to bring about peace. It was only John Kerry’s coming into office that reinitiated all these very important and crucial issues.”
Carter said that John Kerry’s work in the Middle East is “notable” and that he has “great admiration” for the Secretary of State. Mr. Carter says that he and Kerry correspond through email fairly regularly. The ex-President says he enjoys hearing what Kerry thinks about certain subjects, but did not elaborate on the content of those subjects.
Carter continued to praise John Kerry, saying that “he has had a very difficult time operating pretty much on his own.” Hillary was seemingly long forgotten and not mentioned again during the interview. It’s safe to say that she didn’t make the best of impressions on the political icon.
